Enstar is committed to making a difference through community involvement, charitable giving, and volunteering. We and our people give our time and money through a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme formalised in 2018 as a global initiative with a local focus. It promotes staff engagement in our support of local charities and causes. From the centre, we support initiatives such as Self Help Africa and the Make a Difference Leadership Foundation (MAD), in South Africa.

Official Reinsurance Partner of Saracens Women and Saracens Mavericks, a people first partnership, with 3 team members shown

Enstar is committed to diversity and equality for women. As part of Enstar’s DE&I Action Group initiatives, we are partnering with Saracens to champion two women’s sports teams: Saracens Women’s Rugby and Mavericks Netball. Furthering equality requires removing the barriers that still exist for women in sport. By supporting Saracens women’s rugby and women’s netball, Enstar can make a significant difference to the development of the players and teams. During this three-year partnership, our logo will appear on the women’s teams uniforms and in matchday programmes.

Who are Saracens Women and Mavericks?
Saracens has two elite women’s sports teams: Saracens Mavericks Netball and two-time Premier 15s champions Saracens Women’s Rugby, who won their place at the top of the league table in March 2022. Earlier this year, the Saracens Foundation launched its first female-focused leadership programme, The Empower Her Project which pairs players with young girls from the local community sports clubs. These strong athletes are paving the way for future generations, using their positions as role models to inspire and engage more women to get involved and realise the benefits of sport both on and off the pitch.

By working with Saracens, Enstar can play a role in challenging gender stereotypes and biases, breaking down barriers and creating inclusive environments in which women and girls can strive. We are proud to be aligned to an organisation with these shared values and look forward to the value the partnership can bring to our DE&I initiatives more widely.
